The best description for Il Poggetto would be 'A Paradise on Earth'. When we arrived we could not believe the beauty of the place, it looked even better than the pictures on the web!  There is one other thing that makes this paradise just perfect: the kindness and warmth of the family. We are definitely coming back!

Il Poggetto and its “Grand Dame” warmly hosted us during our 2 weeks summer vacation. Il Poggetto is located in a lovely park with a spectacular view into the foothills. Ideally located to set many impressions both on Tuscany culture and nature. Many thanks for your hospitality! Wonderful countryside surrounds.

It's like having a little house in Tuscany, La Cipressaia. Now that it is a long time that, my husband and I, come from Holland to Tuscany during our holidays just since 1982. So after having been hosted in many fine homes and apartments, we have found, via the Hobb guide, this beautiful place, and we fell in love. Why? For its tranquility, the beautiful views and the apartments taken with care. Loving the Tuscan cuisine and fine wines of Chianti, shopping is a big party and often the night I cooked delicious dinners in the small but well equipped kitchen! Now we will be back for the fifth time!!! Il Poggetto is a wonderful place to vacation being close to a lot of culture and good restaurants as well…

We have just returned from a two week stay at Il Poggetto. For a first time visitor to Tuscany, I have to say that this was without doubt one of THE best holidays I have had for a very long time.
Il Poggetto is a little piece of paradise in Tuscany. The location is stunning and so relaxing, Ivana made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Having arrived with lots of plans to tour and sight see we did, but spent many a relaxing day just laying by the pool admiring the beautiful view and stunning location. What could be better than also picking your own fresh figs and peaches from the trees. Thank you so much Andrea and Ivana, we will definitely return and also tell our friends about Il Poggetto.

Everything about this pace is fantastic. The house and garden are beautiful. The fruits were impressive! We never saw artichoke growing, but we saw them growing here!

Our family with 2 boys (9 and 14 years) have thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks in Pergola. The views are amazing and the pool and apartment are just perfect. Ivana has been the most fantastic host allowing us to taste the house figs and peaches. Thank you so much for the most relaxing holiday we have had in a long time.

It was so nice and beautiful here! The rooms were very good for us and we loved the swimming pool. We enjoyed our stay in La Cipressaia at Il Poggetto a lot. We will miss the very nice view, the lovely pool and the silence a lot. Our cottage was just perfect for staying a week in Toscana.
The location is perfect for visiting San Gimignano, Firenze, Certaldo, Siena and other lovely places.
And the host is a very lovely woman, it was a perfect vacation for us.

We had a very nice holiday in Il Poggetto. The view was a very nice typically view of Toscana, the pool was great, the house was very clean. I enjoyed the quietness and felt very relaxed. A good location to make trips to : San Gimignano, Certaldo, Firenze, Siena.
A place to go back for a second time. And the hostess Ivana was a very nice and warm lady.
